The tournament was sponsored jointly by Empost, Datel, Leader Sport Company and Lama Desert Tourism and Cargo LLC.
Thirteen teams representing various departments of DRND were vying for honours in this commemorative championship.
The winning team was awarded a trophy apart from the special awards given for Best Goalkeeper, Top Scorer, Best Player and the Best Team.
Commenting on Empost's decision to sponsor the tournament, Mr. öAbdulla Al Juwaid, deputy CEO of Empost, said:
"We are pleased to contribute towards this tournament, as part of our ongoing support to social and sporting activities. As a UAE company that has always been closely involved in community projects, Empost is also keen to help break the monotony at the workplace by encouraging those at work to take time off for sports activities, and improve interaction and inter-personal communication among employees. This football tournament is a tribute to the fine gesture of the Department of Naturalisation and Residency, Dubai, and the spirit of mutual co-operation between the government and private sectors".
