Burgan Bank: keeping employees connected
- Kuwait: Tuesday, May 20 - 2008 at 11:45
- PRESS RELEASE
Internal communications is critical to the success of any organization.
The new intranet site makes staying connected faster and easier through electronic feedback, application and systems forms.
User-friendly navigation options make browsing through content easy.
The intranet also features a Resolution System developed by the Customer Experience Management Department (CEM).
This system enables employees to register customer requests, and seek suggestions from Burgan 'Champions' - a set of employees trained to effectively process and resolve customer requests.
According to Burgan Banks Chief Marketing Officer, Fadi Matar, "To work together, one must 'think' together. It's the key to unified efforts. This is why internal communications is an ongoing interactive process at our Bank. We open dialogue, combine our skills and in the process, we learn and grow together".
In fact, employee communications is a component of our Corporate Social Responsibility philosophy, adds Fadi Matar, explaining that the Bank considers its employees the most credible brand ambassadors.
Employees are also kept abreast with key corporate and retail developments through the Bank's internal communications newsletter 'Connection'.
This quarterly newsletter, which is distributed to all staff informs, educates and hence mobilizes employees to work towards a common goad based on the business priorities of the Bank, and recognizes endeavors.
Additionally, the Bank holds quarterly Town Hall Meetings for all employees where the CEO Jonathan Lyon shares the key achievements and plans for the future.
The internal communication functions are managed by the Bank's Corporate Communications Department.
This department centralizes updates on products, services and departments, as well as market intelligence and corporate developments.
