Ahmed Humaid Al Tayer receives high profile French delegation

H.E. Ahmed Humaid Al Tayer, Chairman of Emirates NBD has recently received a high profile financial and economic French delegation headed by Mr. Patrick Braouezec, Member of the French Parliament and President of the Communes Plaine Community.
H.E. Al Tayer welcomed the guests to the UAE and explained the reasons behind the unprecedented growth that the UAE's various industries and sectors are witnessing as an average annual growth of 15% has been recorded.
That is due to the increased economic and trade relationships between the country and the emerging markets such as China, South East Asia and the Indian Subcontinent, he explained.
In addition, the tremendous increase in oil prices has also increased the flow of funds into the country and the region enabling it to further strengthen its economy.
The delegation was also updated about the latest activities of Emirates NBD group and were escorted on a visit to the Emirates NBD Pearl Museum where they had an opportunity to take a glimpse about aspects of the UAE heritage and traditions.
