- PRESS RELEASE
Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAGorg) has expanded its license acquisition to Microsoft software and solutions by signing a new Enterprise Agreement that completes its global coverage of 70 office branches in twenty nine countries.
The agreement will improve management performance by providing visibility into software purchasing and deployment across the enterprise and allowing TAGorg to deploy software in special and contingency planning events.
The agreement also meets TAGorg requirements to standardize on common desktop and messaging infrastructure, thus increasing the information sharing capabilities among its staff while reducing efforts needed to maintain disparate software applications across the global enterprise.
Zeid Shubailat, Country Manager of Microsoft Jordan stated, "We look forward to strengthening our partnership with Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Group, which has been flourishing for the last four years. By taking the Enterprise Agreement to the next level, Microsoft will standardize the business operations of TAGorg giving Microsoft more access to various markets across the globe."
He went on to say, "As part of our long-term partnership, Microsoft will continue supporting the efforts made by Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Group to improve Intellectual Property Rights across the region."
Meanwhile, Mr. Mahmoud Lattouf, Executive Director, TAGIDomain at TAGorg said, "This agreement builds on the long term and fruitful partnership that we have had with Microsoft for many years now."
He added, "Last year, we established a successful Microsoft Business Academy in Jordan and a Microsoft IT Academy that we are expanding into Saudi Arabia and Egypt. We are also working with Microsoft on a number of ERP and E-Government projects in the B2G and C2G arena".
Dr. Ra'ed Awdeh, Executive Director of ICT Development at TAGorg added, "Through the Microsoft Enterprise Agreement, the TAGorg team will have the flexibility to gain easy access to highly sensitive data as well as better manage their day-to-day tasks. The new infrastructure will also provide desktop standardization and guarantee access to Microsoft's latest technologies".
He added, "The deployment of the latest IT trends with the help of this agreement is crucial to many important issues such as productivity and return-on-investment".
The execution of the agreement was awarded to Specialized Technical Services (STS), a leading Microsoft Large Account Reseller in Jordan.
