The seminar, attended by major HP customers from across the Gulf was the first since the formal completion of the acquisition of EYP in March 2008.
The half day seminar, held at the Shangri La Hotel, Dubai was hosted by EYP Chairman Steve Einhorn and Osamah Hussameddin, HP Data Center Solutions business Manager for Middle East region.
The sessions focused on the newly combined company's approach to helping businesses drive forward with Next Generation Data Centers.
Headline sessions at the seminar outlined strategies for delivering Mission Critical Facility services and how companies can plan for data centre of the future.
Key elements of the session included Data Center strategy and design, energy efficiency within the data centre sphere, insights into how companies operate and manage an efficient data centre at the right costs via power management techniques and efficient cooling services.

The seminar follows HP's global drive towards helping businesses solve their technology and environmental challenges, helping them accelerate their business growth while reducing the environmental impact.
HP announced the acquisition of EYP on March 17th 2008, bringing together HP's deep experience and data transformation techniques and EYP's multi-dimensional and ecocentric consulting expertise and heritage.
EYP helps companies in a range of sectors including the financial, education, biotech, telecom and logistics sectors providing Enterprise Data Centre strategy management, migration planning, programme management, risk assessment, testing and maintenance design. The announcement follows the completion of the full acquisition of EYP.
Since 2001, EYP has planned and designed over 40 Greenfield datacenters around the world.
