Dubai eGovernment signs agreement to provide eLearning solutions to Noor Islamic Bank

Dubai eGovernment, a pioneering initiative in the region to provide online services, has today signed an agreement with Noor Islamic Bank, to provide a full range of eLearning courses to the bank's employees.

The move is part of initiatives by Dubai eGovernment to improve efficiency among business organisations by helping them achieve 100% adoption of eServices.

Under the terms of the agreement, Dubai eGovernment will provide 125 courses to a select group of employees of Noor Islamic Bank.

The employees may access the courses through Dubai eGovernment's eLearning portal www.elearn.ae.

Some of the courses offered are telephone skills, effective communication, listening skills, handling difficult calls, and understanding cultural differences.

As such, it is Dubai eGovernment's mission to help all members of the society enhance their competency and skills to use the eServices now widely available. Dubai eGovernment has been highly successful in promoting the growth of online services offered to citizens, residents and visitors of Dubai.

In the government sector alone, Dubai eGovernment has revealed that over 2,000 online services have been launched in different government departments, ensuring that over 90% of government services are online in Dubai.
