Emaar plans affordable housing

Emaar Properties plans to acquire a company specialising in low-cost housing to extend its reach into affordable housing for the region, reported Gulf News. Mohammad Al Abbar, Emaar's chairman, said the Dubai-based developer may launch low-cost housing projects in Morocco, India, Pakistan, Egypt and the Palestinian territories.
