UAE residents and visitors can get ready to pack their 'bags' for an eye rejuvenation treatment

A cosmetic surgery procedure to rejuvenate and improve the appearance of the eyes has been introduced at Moorfields Eye Hospital Dubai (MEHD), the Dubai branch of the prestigious, 200-year old Moorfields Eye Hospital in London.

Best known for its ground breaking work in the research and treatment of eye disease and the correction of vision defects, Moorfields Eye Hospital has introduced the new treatment in Dubai, in which consultant eye specialists can improve the aesthetic appearance of a patient's eyes, using everything from Botox to fillers and wrinkle treatments, to create a dramatic transformation.

"My aim is to restore the youthful look for patients in this highly complex anatomical area," says Dr Sciscio, Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at MEHD and a UK trained specialist consultant eye surgeon. Dr Sciscio's experience lies in the field of 'Aesthetic Eyelid Rejuvenation'.

Generally, these aesthetic procedures are performed on women aged in their 40s or 50s, and increasingly men.
