DWTC awards Dhs3.35bn contract

Dubai World Trade Centre has announced that it has awarded the development contract for the first phase of its Dubai Trade Centre District to Al Jaber L.E.G.T. Engineering & Contracting in a deal valued at Dhs3.35bn ($954m). ALEC will construct phase one of the integrated commercial destination, which will include over 240,000 square metres of office space, along with a premium range of meeting, retail and hospitality facilities.
