Mark Eedle, Regional Sales and Marketing Manager for Jaguar Middle East attributed the success to pre launch excitement created at the Kuwait and Dubai Motor Shows.

UAE, Kuwait, Oman and Lebanon have been the strongest markets with over 75% of sales being generated out of these four countries.

'The reception we've been getting from customers across the region has been phenomenal. We've got a sell-out with the new XF. This success is reaffirmation that our new design strategy is on track with meeting and exceeding customer requirements. The XF is a bold new step that shows the world Jaguar truly knows how to design beautiful, fast cars,'

added Eedle.

Having received excellent reviews from customers and media from around the world, the new XF was voted 'Car of the Year' at the 2008 What Car? awards. This was another addition to a list that already included a host of significant awards like 'Car of the Year' from The Sun newspaper, 'Interior of the Year' from CAR magazine and the 'Design Award' from Autocar magazine.

The new XF is available with three different engine variants: 3.0 litre V6 and 4.2 litre (natural or supercharged variants), all featuring Jaguar's six-speed automatic transmission with steering wheel-mounted 'paddles' for manual gear selection (Jaguar Sequential Shift).
