Director General visits Karama Medical Centre as part of DHA consultation programme

Highlighting the DHA's ongoing commitment to engage and consult with all its stakeholders, His Excellency Qadhi Saeed Al Murooshid, the Director General of the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), has visited the Karama Medical Centre (KMC) in Al Quoz, a clinic dedicated to looking after blue collar expatriate workers, many of whom are working on some of the largest construction projects currently underway in Dubai.

His Excellency met the senior management team at KMC as well as staff and patients waiting for treatment.

He said: 'As part of the DHA's strategic review of healthcare in Dubai it is important that we appreciate the health needs of everyone working and living in Dubai. We must understand the day to day concerns and issues faced by all medical facilities, across both the public and private sectors, whoever they care for.'

He adds: 'The DHA transition team is committed to its ongoing consultation programme. The feedback and input of everyone we are talking to is invaluable if we are going to deliver the best healthcare system moving forward as we look to the future.'
