UAE to lead the smart home industry following the launch of e-Home CONTROLS

Supported by Intel Corporation, Architect Khalifa A. A. AlJaziri, Managing Director of e-Home AUTOMATION LLC, has launched the first fully customized smart home concept for the Middle East.

Designed to meet the lifestyle and culture of Gulf Arabs who are looking for technology that allows them to enjoy more time to themselves and their families, 'e-Home CONTROLS' technology was developed in tandem with Intel software engineers both in the Middle East as well as in Europe. An automation system for the home, e-Home CONTROLS was launched in a gala ceremony in Dubai to real estate developers from across the region.

Users of the e-Home CONTROLS smart home system can communicate with their villa through their mobile, pager, email, the Internet or even through voice commands to access a host of services including security features, lighting, heating, entertainment options, and air conditioning. Users can command their smart home system through voice recognition to turn on the surround sound system and home movie theatre, run the hot water in the bath, and even open the gate from the comfort of their arm chairs.

Tailored to be scalable based on the user's needs - e-Home CONTROLS can be deployed in anything from a single villa all the way up to a smart city across whole city blocks - AlJaziri has already been in talks with property developers from Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.

A project fully supported by Intel, which has leveraged off its four decades of experience in developing cutting edge hardware and software technologies, e-Home CONTROLS is easy to deploy and integrate with other hardware and yet still offers the latest in applications and usage to a region known to embrace IT.
