He added that this round will introduce more subsidiaries to the award categories in addition to increasing the budget this year.

This initiative is aimed at redistributing authorities and providing opportunities to centers to expand their activities in order to gain more funds and enhance the award's financial and organizational operations as per our five year plan, Bin Souqat pointed out.

The second section highlights the researches in areas of social services aiming to spread health awareness and developing medical culture among public.

This will be achieved after surveying social needs, setting up awareness programs and creating communication channels with organizations operating in the same field.

A specialist team work will control the center's activities in order to study and follow research applications which will systemize the funding process and help many researches reach Medical Science Publication affiliated to SHAMS and other international publications.

As for the Continuous Medical Education Service Center, the activities will be concerned with medical conferences and its related actions along to increasing the number of medical congresses in UAE where organizers seek SHAMS financial and management support.

The center will study each application separately to determine appropriate conferences that match the award's purposes.

Also, the center will monitor continuous medical education as its programs have proven efficiency in improving the capacities of medical professionals in various sectors.

A competent team of physicians will set proper training programs to serve this goal.
