Heriot-Watt University Dubai welcomes prospective students and parents for a taste of college life

For those students looking to enroll at the university, Heriot-Watt will be providing information and offering a special fee discount of Dhs2,500 to all students who apply by June 30 and gain early acceptance.

During the open day Heriot-Watt students and staff members will be on hand to give campus tours and answer questions on degree programmes, transition from high school to university, application forms and fees as well as campus life.

Support and guidance will be provided to prospective students and their parents and advice will be given on choosing the next step of his or her academic life.

Heriot-Watt University will also share information on its new Degree Entry Programme, which provides students with a unique pathway into the Heriot-Watt University undergraduate programmes in Management and Engineering.

This course is designed to help students bridge the gap between their school qualifications and the demands of a university degree and provide a firm foundation in IT, research and writing skills, academic English and assessment and examination techniques.

Heriot-Watt University was the first international university to open its doors at Dubai International Academic City.
