Versar, Inc. awarded $14m IDIQ Engineering Contract in Iraq from the US Army Corps of Engineers

Versar, Inc. announced that its wholly-owned international subsidiary, VIAP, Inc., was awarded a task order, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract from the US Army Corps of Engineers worth up to $14m over three years.
The contract will allow Versar to assess the current state of construction in Northern Iraq, plan for future projects, and provide quality assurance services at current projects.
Dr. Ted Prociv, President and CEO of Versar said, "We are well positioned to assist
the US Army Corps of Engineers and the local Iraqi Provincial Governments with planning, management and engineering services. We continue to capture additional market share in Iraq as opportunities become available through new contracting agencies."
Versar, INC., headquartered in Springfield, VA, is a publicly held infrastructure program management company for the Federal Government and the commercial market specializing in homeland defense, engineering and construction management, environmental health and safety and the management of toxic and hazardous materials.
