Philips 3D displays winner of the 1st Annual Last Gadget Standing Dubai

In the 1st Annual Last Gadget Standing that took place in Dubai at International CES/Hometech 2008 Exhibition, Philips 3D Displays was voted as the Last Gadget Standing (LGS) after being shortlisted in the final list of the 10 LGS.

Created by Robin Raskin seven years ago, Last Gadget Standing is an annual CES Las Vegas favorite -the world's largest consumer electronics tradeshow.

Last Gadget Standing made its debut in Dubai and was hosted by technology expert, author and columnist Robin Raskin.

The contest featured 10 of the world's top gadgets competing on stage to be selected as the last gadget standing by the public.

Furthermore, much of the content created today already uses a 3D dataset: Animations, games, and other "3D" applications can be shown in 3D and also stereo-filmed video.
