Comparing to last year's same period, Bin Souqat branch achieved a significant increase of 72% given that the total number of applications of 2007 reached 132,376.
Captain Issa Shaheen, Manager of DNRD's Bin Souqat Centre branch, said, 'The significant increase in the number of applications every month is due to the centre's convenient location and the fast and simple procedure we are adopting, thereby reducing the crowd at DNRD's headquarter.'
Residents of Rashidiyah, Mirdiff and the areas close to Emirates Road are the main visitors to the Bin Souqat Shopping Center DNRD branch.
It has special services whereby customers can enjoy their time in the coffee shops at the Bin Souqat Shopping Centre while their documents are being processed and delivered to them.
Also, the elderly can park their cars in a nearby spot, and the DNRD representatives will come and collect the applications from them, process them and then, in a record time, deliver them back to the customers.
Those who are taking advantage of the convenient location of the centre, inside a shopping mall, are the housewives, who come for their shopping and follow up on their applications simultaneously.
The branch is also a great help for women PROs who escape the heavy traffic to the DNRD Headquarter in Jafiliyah and use the Bin Souqat branch to process their corporate applications.
'The convenient location of the centre inside the lively environment of the shopping mall allows our young and dedicated employees to come up with innovative ideas in order to offer first class service to our customers,' Shaheen concluded.
DNRD Bin Souqat which opened its doors in 2005 offers an array of services to customers such as entry permits, residency applications, cancellations, status amendment, contract endorsements, absconders reporting and many more.
DNRD services are also available at Abu Hail Center, Hyatt Regency, Dnata, JAFZA, Media City, DIFC, Karama, Um Suqueim and others.
The branches are set up to offer diverse services in accordance with the high standards of performance, efficiency and speed that govern DNRD operations at its headquarters in Jaffiliya.
