Business & Financial Forum to take place in Bahrain

Under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Hassan Abdallah Fakhro, Minister of Industry & Commerce, Confex Int. S.A.L. is organizing "The Business & Financial Forum" from 3-4 June 2008, at the Gulf Hotel - Kingdom of Bahrain.
This forum has the support of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Bahrain, and the help of the Central Bank of Lebanon, and the collaboration of the Federation of GCC chambers.
The Forum will be a meeting place for Arab business men, to join efforts, share thoughts, and find ways to collaborate and invest in many sectors including: Banking & Finance, Real Estate development, contracting, telecom and other general mutual investments, mainly in the private sector.
According to Rafik Zantout, "Bahrain is the promising new market for Arab investors and we plan to bring them to the Kingdom. The effort is to open the doors of communication between them and open up new avenues for business and economic cooperation botht in Bahrain and the GCC region as a whole".
"Bankers, developer's, contractors in addition to the top brass of the regional telecommunications markets will converge on the Kingdom. The event will also feature speakers from Lebanon, United Arab Emirates, Oman and other regional financial centres".
Hisham Al Baradie, Chairman, Magnum Events & Exhibitions Management (MEEM) added, "We would like them to avail opportunities awaiting to be tapped in various sectors within the Gulf Cooperation Council and the forum will be the ideal platform for the purpose".
"The Business & Financial Forum" will hold workshops, working sessions and debates between speakers coming from different backgrounds, opening up doors and new horizons between the speakers and the participants.
