Children from the Al Shohub Primary School in Abu Dhabi formed a guard of honour for Her Highness who toured the show with Shannon Norris, Events Director for TME, the organisers of the Mother Baby and Child show.

Opening on Thursday May 29, the show will run until Saturday May 31 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.

Channel 4 Radio will be airing live from the show on Saturday between 2-5pm and there will be many opportunities to win fabulous prizes, including the star prize of two return tickets to New Zealand courtesy of Air New Zealand.

Now in its second year in Abu Dhabi, the Mother Baby and Child Show offers plenty of free advice, free samples as well as the latest in childcare products, goods and services for everyone from parents-to-be through to parents with children up to the age of 12.

An impressive 15,000 people visited the show in 2007 and TME are expecting a great turnout again this year. Sponsors of the event include: Air New Zealand, Fine, Milupa, Abu Dhabi Women's Council, Al Jazira Club, National food products Company, National Bank of Abu Dhabi and Fuji Film.
