InterContinental Mzaar takes home two prestigious awards in Dubai, UAE

For the fifth year running, InterContinental Mzaar Lebanon Mountain Resort & Spa wins prestigious prizes during the MENA Travel Awards 2008 ceremony, one of the leading awards program for recognizing regional travel and tourism industries and honoring superior service and outstanding standards.

More than 100,000 global travel professionals voted at this prestigious annual event, giving to InterContinental Mzaar the Gold trophy for 'Best Price Value Hotel' and the Silver trophy for 'Best Tourism Project' in the Middle East & North Africa.

Robert Zogbi, general manager of InterContinental Mzaar commented: "We are delighted to have won again two prestigious awards reflecting the high level of quality, service and dedication provided by our employees and especially showcasing the richness of our destination while offering reasonably priced services, hence promoting tourism in Lebanon."

The resort was the only property from Lebanon to have won awards and the third one to have won more than one trophy among the 463 participants from the Middle East and Africa regions between 4&5-star hotels, airlines, spas, golf courses, car rental, conference & convention centers, Fine Dining and tourism projects.

A testament to Alpine chalet-style resorts, the 131-room InterContinental Mzaar Lebanon offers cozy & heart-warming accommodations, a myriad of leisure activities and 11 sumptuous outlets among which the award-winning Khaymet Al Horr, tent restaurant, offering traditional mountain Lebanese cuisine and winner of the Best F&B concept in the Middle East & North Africa in 2006.
