Etisalat unveils 2007 spend

UAE telecom operator Etisalat has announced that it spent over $409m on infrastructure investment in 2007. The money was used to upgrade existing networks and coverage. Speaking to Emirates Business 24/7 a company official claimed that periodic disruptions to services were not due to infrastructural weakness but to 'outside influences.'
