The study visits fall under the MBRPLD Young Leaders Program's training series on the management of global cities.
Prestigious leaders, politicians and international speakers will speak to the visiting team during symposiums and interactive discussions, where they will provide valuable insights on leadership development, project management, administrative skills, personal development, and communications.
The travel agenda kicks off at Fontainebleau, France, where a "Dubai Opening" symposium will discuss the "Age of Great Cities" and Dubai's strategic role and challenges at the regional and international levels. The delegates will then travel to Seattle, US, where the Mayor, the Governor, a member of Congress, the president of Boeing Commercial Airplanes, senior Microsoft officials, and Global Strategy Vice President and Trade Alliance Chairperson Laura Peterson will give speeches.
The group will also get the chance to visit Boeing's factory.
Adel Al Shared, MBRPLD Director and Executive Council Director of National`s Development, said:
"We are pleased to organize this unique educational visit, which will expose our young leaders to the various experiences of global cities and the organizations and companies operating within them. This complements the Program's efforts to study the best international practices related to the management of international cities, particularly infrastructural management and development; social, regional and economic challenges; development considerations and success factors; attraction of leading international organizations; and strategies for maintaining competitiveness."
The Young Leaders Program, one of two leadership programs under the umbrella of the MBRPLD, aims to develop the leadership and management skills of its members through training programs and workshops that go in line with Dubai Strategic Plan 2015 and Dubai's regional and international goals.
