The focus of the training was on time management and handling work stresses.
The move is part of Emarat's commitment to provide its staff with continuous learning opportunities.
Dr. Mohammed Bu Qufell, Manager Career Development at Emarat, said that the importance of the program emanates from the current nature of our daily lives which has become so fast paced that it required organization to deal with core issues facing employee and manager productivity. This is in addition to the decrease in the number of staff in most organizations in a considerable way, while the work load is constantly increasing. This forces the few left to handle the chunk of the workload.
These changes have also increased the levels of frustration and pressure amongst the employees.
In fact, most of the managers and their subordinates find it hard to cope with the work volume and to complete it on time.
He indicated that the importance of this program is that it assists individual employees in increasing their productivity levels by motivating them and enhancing their sense of responsibility and commitment to meet deadlines.
The program also helped employees in improving their skills, efficiency and communication levels with other employees.
This, in return, should minimize the levels of stress that impacts negatively on the workplace and team work.
The program also helped in organizing and managing the daily work assignments, recognizing the obstacles hindering the achievements and understanding the reasons behind the work pressure and the best strategies to face this pressure.
