BurJuman eases shoppers' parking concerns
- United Arab Emirates: Monday, June 02 - 2008 at 15:48
- PRESS RELEASE
In a bid to address concerns raised by shoppers seeking parking spaces in its retail complex, BurJuman management has introduced a new paid parking scheme to help ease its customers' frustrations.
There will also be a lunch-time complimentary parking on weekdays, as well as free parking on Fridays and public holidays.
"At BurJuman we have always taken a leadership position in the retail market and believe that introducing this paid parking initiative will lead to greater convenience and reduced stress for our shoppers. We made this proactive move after having received feedback from shoppers who faced difficulties finding parking spaces and believe that for genuine BurJuman shoppers, the paid parking scheme will address the issue," said Mr. Eisa Adam Ibrahim, General Manager, BurJuman.
Shoppers can also opt to waive the parking fee by presenting their parking receipt at one of the numerous information counters located in BurJuman.
Between the hours of 12.30pm to 2.30pm, and from 6pm onwards, parking will be free of charge, as well as Fridays and public holidays.
Upon entering the parking area at BurJuman, a grace period of 15 minutes for pick up and drop is applicable, and customers will be given a grace period of 20 minutes to leave the parking lot after ticket validation.
