After its visit to ASIS Exhibition in the US on safety and security, IGTC-Chubb Fire Qatar's General Manager, Mr Rami Al-Batrawi, acquired the exclusive agencies of A. Rifkin Company, High Rise Escape Systems and Western Shelter. Mr Al Batrawi restated IGTC-Chubb's commitment to excellence in the safety sector.

"IGTC-Chubb has always maintained a forward looking policy in all its operations, and in order to provide the most current and reliable international safety equipment and provisions for fire, rescue and security in Qatar, we thought it was a strategically sound move to include these new USA agencies in the company fold."

Mr Al Batrawi continued, "By constantly including new and improved products and services to our portfolio of safety equipment, IGTC-Chubb can provide varied, comprehensive and thorough safety and security assurance across Qatar. We are proud to be able to include A. Rifkin Company, High Rise Escape Systems and Western Shelter to our bouquet of agencies, especially with the heightened requirement of sophisticated safety measures for high rise buildings, safety personnel and critical response scenarios. With the rate at which the country is growing, it is vital that we upgrade our safety and security provisions to match the needs of the times."

To explain the value of each company, Mr Al Batrawi described their core competences.

"A Rifkin Company specialises in manufacturing and distributing multi-use reusable fabric bags such including safety seals, labels and coin and currency protection for homes, lobbies, banks and corporations. Their vast product catalogue gives us the opportunity to extend personal safety hardware and bags to a wide variety of concerns in Qatar. High Rise Escape Systems offer controlled descent devices that automatically adjust to the users' body weight and lowers evacuees on unravelling chairs from balconies as high as 50 storeys. These systems aid firefighters and emergency personnel in rescuing people from their balconies in case of fires or natural calamities. Western Shelter offers some of the most sophisticated mobile rescue transport units which may be deployed immediately in times of severe emergencies, to remote locations and in any weather condition. The mobile units double up as operating theaters and shelters with independent power supplies and lifesaving amenities."

"All in all, we are inspired and encouraged by the range of security and safety equipment now available with IGTC-Chubb Fire Qatar and we hope to offer these state-of-the-art new amenities right across the nation," Mr Al Batrawi enthused.

IGTC-Chubb Fire Qatar has consistently upgraded, acquired and expanded its range of market offerings in internationally acclaimed fire, safety and security equipment to meet the demands of the nation's growing construction and residential sector.
