Kuwait: Tuesday, June 03 - 2008 at 13:33

Zain is considering plans to merge its Middle East and African network operations into one entity by year end, reported Bahrain Tribune. Last month, Zain eliminated roaming charges for customers across four of its networks in the Middle East, launching the borderless 'One Network' across Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan and Sudan. With the recent acquisition of licences, the group was planning to commence commercial operations in Saudi Arabia and Ghana by the middle of the year.
