The ECSSR participates at 'Regional Network for Strategic Centers' in Turkey meeting

78 research centers from 14 countries participated in the event which included the United Arab Emirates represented by the ECSSR on behalf of Mohammed Al Ali -Manager of Media Department, Khalifa Al Kitby - Head of the Media Monitoring Department, Abdulla Salim Al Kaabi - Media Researcher in the Media Department.

The meeting included general sessions, where papers were presented from Jordan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Yemen which covered Terrorism, Security and Democracy.

Special sessions of the four work teams which was approved by the Net in its previous meetings and they are : Anti Terrorist Team, Weapons of Mass Destruction& Border Security Team, Un Traditional Threats Teams, Democracy and Governance Team.

These teams are the core work of the Network and its referred to the teams to set their agendas and schedules.

The NSSCR meeting came with the final recommendations, that the Network will start publishing research and studies done by the Four Teams. Invite research centers from the Middle East and South Asia to join the Network.

Hold meetings regularly for members of each team, while the main meetings will be for the Network. It was proposed that the meeting be semi annual.
