- United Arab Emirates: Wednesday, June 04 - 2008 at 08:26
- PRESS RELEASE
EFECO will be installing these units in more than 6,000 villas that it has under contract at various projects in Dubai.
These projects include the Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid National Housing Program at Oud Muttena, Al Warqa and Al Barsha; projects for Emaar at Emirates Hills and Arabian Ranches; the new Al Bawadi development; villas for the Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority; and villas for Shaikh Holdings' Sanctuary Falls development.
The agreement was signed by Mr K. W. Kim, President of LG Electronics: Middle East and Africa, Mr Baassiri of Fortune International Trading and Mr Saad Taher of EFECO in the presence of Mr Riad Kamal, the CEO of Arabtec Holding, and executive managers of the three companies.
Speaking at the occasion of the signing, Mr Kamal said, "This agreement comes as a consolidation of Arabtec's long-established relationship with LG Electronics and Fortune International, which saw the successful supply of air conditioning units to thousands of villas built by Arabtec Construction and fitted by EFECO in Dubai in the past. It is also in our strategic interest to secure necessary long lead supply materials for our projects to ensure timely handover of these projects to the respective investors."
