Plug-Ins will ensure the safe and environmentally friendly disposal of the electronics products in accordance with Dubai Municipality guidelines. In addition, the Plug-Ins store at Dubai Festival City will hand out saplings to the first 100 customers who avail this facility as part of its green initiative.

Vishesh Bhatia, Group Director - Electronics, Engineering & Technologies, Al-Futtaim Group said:

"The initiative is among the first from an electronics retailer in the UAE. The Go Green campaign is about being smarter and caring for the environment."

The technology industry has an opportunity to be a positive force for change and integral to environmental solutions for the UAE that will ensure future generations inherit a healthy planet," he added.
