Organised by dmg world media Dubai and hosted at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre, the show will take place from June 8-10 2008.

Once again, Al Aqili Furnishings will be the largest sole exhibitor at the show, presenting a huge display of interiors solutions from flooring and fabrics to lighting and furniture.

The Al Aqili Furnishings Pavilion, in the Al Multaqa Hall, will be transformed into a large hotel corridor with seven hotel rooms and suites named after the seven emirates of the United Arab Emirates, fitted and furnished solely by AAF.

"Year after year our investment at this show is growing in parallel to the hospitality industry and our own," said Shahriar Khodjasteh, Group Marketing Director, AAF. "The hospitality industry in this region is continuously setting new records and benchmarks in every area of growth and development, and this creates the opportunity for us to enhance our offerings to this segment of our business.

Maggie Moore, Exhibition Director, The Hotel Show, commented,

"This is yet again a major commitment to The Hotel Show by AAF and clearly demonstrates our status as the leading event in the region for suppliers to the hospitality industry."

"We have been extremely busy seeking and examining the world's best manufacturers to enrich our product offering and to ensure our position as the ultimate in furnishing solutions. And we are proud today to showcase the results of our long quest," added Khodjasteh.

Al Aqili Furnishings is also contributing this year to the Seven Stars Conference during The Hotel Show. Rudie Hoess, General Manager of Belight, the lighting division of AAF, will address LED based lighting technology, the solution to less energy consuming lighting. Also, Wiley Jones of Shaw Industries, the largest carpet manufacturer in the world and one of AAF's main suppliers of contract flooring products, will discuss the issues of sustainability and production in the global flooring industry.

"With a great focus on style and quality this year, we have not ignored a single detail of safety and sustainability; our brands include one of the world's largest recyclers in carpet manufacturing and the only fabric producer that meets all flame retardant standards in the world," added Khodjasteh.

The Al Aqili Furnishings' portfolio includes the best hotels in the UAE and the Middle East with the recent addition of the Park Place Hotel Apartments, which was fully furnished by Al Aqili Furnishings products. AAF products were also used in the Emirates Towers, Dusit Dubai, Al Qasr, Fairmont, Shangri La, JW Marriott of Dubai and Riyadh and Harbour Plaza and the Intercontinental at the Dubai Festival City, to name but a few.
