In keeping with this objective, the mall management has introduced a number of measures to ensure immaculate customer service even during the redevelopment work, currently underway at the centre.

As a part of the expansion at the centre, the taxi pick-up area was moved outdoors. However, the mall management has installed a tent to ensure that its visitors are guaranteed total comfort whilst waiting for their taxis. Sharjah City Centre greeters are also at hand to assist shoppers with their bags and offer complimentary chilled water bottles during their wait.

Jassem Al Janahi, General Manager, Sharjah City Centre, said:

'The redevelopment of Sharjah City Centre is an important milestone for us. We have been at the forefront when it comes to providing value and we are in the process of adding much more of it in eight months. But at the same time, we want to ensure during this time our customers' shopping experience and comfort are not affected in any way. The taxi pick-up area is testament to this. I am pleased to say that our efforts have been acknowledged by visitors who have given us very positive feedback on how we are managing the taxi pick-up area.'
