Foreign investors purchase Dhs2.899bn worth of shares on DFM during the last week

Dubai Financial Market announced today that the value of shares bought by foreign investors, or non-UAE nationals, during last week (June 01- June 05) reached Dhs2.899bn comprising 35.8% of the total value of stocks traded during the period.

The value of stocks sold by foreign investors during the same period reached Dhs2.670bn comprising 33.0% of the total value of stocks traded during the period. Net foreign investment on the market reached Dhs228.9m during the same period, as aggregate buy.

The value of stocks bought by institutional investors during last week reached Dhs2.644bn comprising 32.7% of the total value of stocks traded during the period. The value of stocks sold by institutional investors during the period reached Dhs2.043bn which constitutes 25.2% of the total value of stocks traded during the period. Net institutional investment on the market reached Dhs601.7m during the period as aggregate buy.
