KTV authorizes Al-Aswad Trading as exclusive distributor for its LCD Television in Bahrain

As part of its strategy to broaden distributors network in the Gulf region, KTV Middle East Company has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Al-Aswad Trading, under which this latter is authorized to be the exclusive distributor for KTV LCD Televisions in the Bahraini market.

The agreement stipulates that Al Aswad Trading will supply customers in Bahrain with the latest models of KTV products and the after sale services.

Commenting on this agreement, Mr. Abdulla Baeshin said:
"We selected Al Aswad Trading to be the exclusive distributor of our products in Bahrain because it is one of the leading trading companies in Bahrain with considerable expertise in the retail of domestic, office and electronic appliances. Besides, it is the distributor for a number of renowned global brands. It has good experience in projects, as well."


Mr. Baeshin added that KTV will continue its strategy to extend its presence in the region through entering into significant partnerships with numerous companies and establishments to promote its products in the Gulf region now, and in other regions later.

KTV Middle East Company has previously signed an agreement with the National Company for Sales and Marketing (Lingo), the exclusive distributor for KTV LCD Televisions (TVs) in the KSA.

KTV is the only company in the world that manufactures TV LCDs with in-built Set Top Box, which is used to transfer from data signals to video signals. These LCDs are useful in hospitality, entertainment, advertising and educational fields.

In addition KTV owns exclusive marketing rights for iStream in KSA and UAE. iStream is the last part of the integrated solutions offered by KTV to the targeted projects in the above mentioned fields.

KTV is one of the leading companies in its field producing Multi Screens (42-82 inches) with 2cm frames. For the first time in Dubai, the televisions are produced and manufactured internationally in the LCD TV factory in Dubai's Jebel Ali Free Zone.

The KTV products are of high quality at competitive prices, in particular the LCD TV, Sound System and Monitoring Device (CCV) and others. It is ranked number 3 in Korea after Samsung and LG, respectively, as per the Korea International Trade Association.

KTV was established in 1969 under the name of Toshiba Korea Co Ltd, and in 1974 changed its name to Korea Electronics Co Ltd. In 1987 the company started the LCD TV production line. In 2003, KTV launched KTV Global Corporation and opened a location in the Middle East, achieving many partnerships with several companies.

KTV Company targets the Middle East, North Africa and Europe Markets, and has several offices around the world. It has factories and retail stores in the UAE, Korea, the Philippines, and retail stores in the KSA, USA, UK, Germany and Japan.
