Misel Klesinger appointed as new tennis coach at Habtoor Grand Resort & Spa

He will oversee training and upgrading of tennis facilities at the Habtoor Grand. Members of the tennis club at the hotel can, apart from the top facilities, look forward to world-class tennis training.

Klesinger brings with him over 16 years of experience working with high profile players in Germany and around the world. He has the experience of coaching within the German Tennis Federation (Deutscher Tennis Bund-DTB). He has been credited the "German Champion of Tennis Coaches" (Doubles) in 1991. He came 2nd in "International Championship of Germany for Tennis Coaches" in 1992.

As a coach he has trained Nikolay Davydenko together with brother Edouard in Germany, Dominik Meffert - the German Champion and Top 220 ATP, Alexander Satschko - Top 260ATP, Nika Ozegovic Top 140 WTA, Antonia Matic - German Champion & Top 230/140 WTA and Ana Savic - Croatian Champion.

Earlier in his career as a doubles player he was ranked 17 in ITF Junior ranking in 1986. He has played in Wimbledon as well as in Paris in 1986 and ranked 274 in ATP. He has won "Satellite Masters Portoroz" in1987 followed by "Satellite Masters Lausanne" in 1989. He was also the champion Of Hesse, Germany and Rhineland-Pfalz.

As a singles player, he has played several official matches with leaning stars like Goran Ivanisevic, Michael Stich, Petr Korda, Alberto Mancini, Goran Prpic, Jeremy Bates, Ali Zeeshan and a friendly match with Boris Becker.
