DM inks agreement with Dubai Health Authority

Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has signed an agreement with Dubai Municipality regarding offering services of issuing medical fitness certificates to expatriates for labour and residency purposes in Dubai.
Al Murooshid said this agreement will enhance the relationship between different local establishments in Dubai emirate.
"The agreement also reflects the keenness of both the sides on enhancing the quality levels of services offered to the customers and also creates effective strategic partnership between them to develop, update and speed up the procedures of work as well as simplifying them for the customers," he said.
"Our partnership with Dubai Municipality will help us meet the requirements of the customers in the field of medical fitness tests with high international standards," said Al Murooshid.
Lootah said forging effective partnerships between local government authorities is necessary for enhancing the standard of work and services provided to the city's society.
He also called upon the necessity to have exchanges of knowledge and expertise and launching new initiatives as well as joint work based on the principles of transparency and enhancing partnership relationships.
Lootah said that this agreement is aimed at strengthening the developmental work and progress of the emirate.
"Based on the agreement, the DHA has been authorized to conduct medical fitness tests and issue medical certificates and health and occupational cards adhering to the concerned approved specifications, rules and regulations in this regard as per the laws of the Ministerial Order No.7 of 2008 regarding regulating medical tests for expatriates for working and residing in the country.
