Kuwait Royal Airport Terminal takes off with Mitel

The Kuwait Royal Terminal started its operations in early 2008 and is the largest private aviation terminal in the Middle East. The facility is located at the Kuwait International Airport and is owned by Royal Aviation Kuwait and operated by Mercury Group, USA.

The world-class Royal Terminal includes many amenities such as upscale boutiques and haute- couture shops, a five-star restaurant and various lounges to accommodate the needs of commercial, VIP customers and heads of state.

The Mitel IP communications solution was installed by Mitel's authorisedPARTNER Al Mulla InfoTech Solutions (AIS), a division of Bader Al Mulla & Bros. Co. WLL.

Al Mulla InfoTech Solutions (AIS) were in turn commissioned to do the project by the main contractor for the construction of the Terminal, Kuwait United Construction Management Company, (KUCM).

They were selected due to their commitment to complete the work within the projects tight schedule and the solution's capability to be configured and expanded in a modular way to meet future communications needs.

The Mitel IP telephony system at the Kuwait Royal Airport Terminal is based on the Mitel 3300 IP Communications Platform (ICP) and the award-winning 5340 HTML-enabled IP Phone. The solution offers feature-rich voice communications, centralized management, high levels of scalability and seamless networking capabilities.
