- PRESS RELEASE
Eton Institute, Dubai's leading institute of languages announces the offering of language courses at Dubai Community Theatre & Arts Centre (DUCTAC) based at Mall of the Emirates.
Dr. Eli Abi Rached, Eton Institute of Languages' Managing Director said, "DUCTAC, situated at the Mall of the Emirates, has grown to be the cultural hub of Dubai and as languages and culture go hand-in-hand, we bring this unique opportunity for anyone to experience first-hand, languages from a cultural perspective."
Alison Fordham, DUCTAC's Chief Executive said, "We are delighted to welcome Eton Institute to DUCTAC and expand the range of participatory activities on offer.
DUCTAC aims to celebrate the distinctiveness and diversity of the City's many communities and encouraging language classes for greater cultural understanding is central to this."
With over 17 languages on offer and a variety of courses to choose from, such as the 'Business English' for professionals and 'Regular Group' classes for adults, learners can take advantage and learn a new language between shopping or simply beat the 'Rush Hour' on their way back home.
The courses are designed to provide practical, hands-on lessons which are interactive and fun. Workshops involving the whole family will also be conducted along with 'Kids Special' programmes this summer.
Parents can drop there kids for a language class and continue shopping without having to worry about their whereabouts.
"People learn a new language for various reasons" Dr. Eli added, "and the most common and obvious one is to communicate with the people who speak it. Learning a language associated to a country helps to understand the culture and the people of that country and opens one's mind to new ideas and new ways of looking at the world."
Group Spanish classes are scheduled to open from 11th June at DUCTAC, for other courses and enquiries please call toll free 800eton and speak to a coordinator about the courses offered, register online at www.eton.ac or simply pick-up and drop an application form at the Arts and Cultural centre on the second floor of Mall of the Emirates.
