Thirteen members participated in the one-day trip aimed to provide them with an increased sense of camaraderie within the group, while also reducing the physical and mental stresses of modern life.

Nazareth Fernandes, Manager of Zahara Travel, said,

"Being a travel organisation of our repute, the pressures and commitments of work are at a constant high, so it is very rare that all employees are together at the same time. To provide high level of sustained quality customer service in this competitive environment is challenging and is not possible without a team effort, therefore, a trip such as this one greatly helps. The team-building activities gave the team a chance to interact with all their colleagues, many of whom they don't normally work with on a daily basis. In that respect, this trip was very successful towards the team-building objectives and has exceeded our expectations."

He further added, "It is the collective brilliance of talented individuals which can crucially enable the team to achieve organisational goals. To ensure this, Zahara regularly conducts team building activities which encompasses experiential and adventure learning by encouraging employees to work cooperatively, challenge themselves in a supportive environment, improve self-esteem and learn creative approaches to problem-solving. During the year, other team building games and activities Zahara undertakes include Cricket and Football matches, Bowling competitions, Annual Staff Party, etc. Moreover, Zahara also conducts several other staff training programs that work for the greater benefit, especially to the company's customers."
