Apple unveils new iPhone

Apple Inc has unveiled a lower cost, next-generation iPhone with faster Internet access and the ability to run on advanced wireless networks. The new entry-level iPhone will cost $199 with 8 gigabytes of memory, compared with the $399 price of the older-generation phone with similar memory. The new device will go on sale beginning July 11 in 22 countries, but the only countries in the Middle East that will offer it are Egypt, Jordan and Qatar, reported AP.
