Raffles Dubai announces new appointments

Austrian citizen Christoph G. Ganster has recently been appointed Hotel Manager for Raffles Dubai. Having joined the pre-opening team of Raffles Dubai in February 2007 as Executive Assistant Manager in charge of Food & Beverage, he has played a pivotal role in establishing the hotel.

Mr. Ganster has more than 10 years experience in the luxury hotel industry. He graduated from the Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management, Salzburg and previously worked as Executive Assistant Manager in charge of Food & Beverage for Raffles Resort Canouan Island, The Grenadines, St Vincent & The Grenadines, West Indies.

Christian Westbeld, a German citizen, has been appointed Director of Food & Beverage for Raffles Dubai. He joined Raffles Dubai in September 2007, during the pre-opening period as Assistant Director of Food & Beverage.

Christian graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and prior to joining Raffles Dubai, worked as Assistant Food & Beverage Director, Banquets at the Fairmont Dubai and the Peninsula, Manila, Philippines. He is a dynamic part of the Raffles Dubai team and brings with him years of experience and a strong background in the Food & Beverage sector.
