AlMansoori success in ADNOC HSE awards

Innovative leading oilfield services provider AlMansoori Specialized Engineering is celebrating after being recognised in the 2007 ADNOC HSE awards.
The award was presented to jointly to AlMansoori and ADCO for the introduction of the Milestone Recognition Programme.
The programme recognises and awards individuals and teams for achieving zero Lost Time Accident (LTA).
It also aims to deliver behavioural changes for improved HSE performance by developing within employees the skills to create the environment necessary for an accident-free workplace.
The programme is designed to challenges the way employees think about work, teams and their ability to influence HSE outcomes.
It aims to increase understanding about the beliefs and values that emphasise good HSE performance and the development of skills to work with others in achieving excellent HSE results.
The award was accepted by Hilal AlMansoori, president of AlMansoori Specialized Engineering.
Mr Abdul Munim Al Kindy, the general manager of ADCO, received the award on behalf of ADCO.
Also attending the event on behalf of AlMansoori Specialized Engineering were general manager for marketing and joint ventures Adel Baobaid and corporate HSE and quality manager Hamadeh Bakir.
Earlier this year AlMansoori won Best Business Practice at the Excellence in Energy Awards.
Adel Baobaid said: "We are delighted to have been recognised by ADNOC in this award because HSE is a vital component of our business. Instilling beliefs and values that emphasise good HSE performance will in return develop in employees the skills to achieve excellent HSE outcomes in an integrated manner."
