Saudi Gulf Luxury Trade Fair - where luxury meets business

The Saudi Gulf Luxury Trade Fair, Europe's first ever luxury brands and business trade fair, designed exclusively for the Gulf / Middle East visitors to London during the summer taking place at the InterContinental London Park Lane on August 2nd and 3rd 2008, is proud to announce that they have chosen Islamic Relief as their charity partner for the trade fair, and as their long term partner.

Islamic Relief 's (UK) Deputy Manager, Aziz Rajab-Ali says:

'We are happy that the Saudi Gulf Luxury Trade Fair has chosen Islamic Relief as their long term charity partner. The Intercontinental has a history of supporting good causes and we in Islamic Relief are delighted to be working together for the benefit of children in need in Gaza. We hope that our partnership will also serve to strengthen relationships between our communities in the UK and the people of the Middle East.'



A spokesman for the Saudi Gulf Luxury Trade Fair says: 'We are delighted and honoured to support such a wonderful global charity. Islamic Relief will benefit from various ways of fundraising at the trade fair, including a donation from the sale of the world's most expensive abaya that is now near completion, designed exclusively by world famous fashion designer Bruce Oldfield, who designed the wedding dress of Queen Rania of Jordan. The abaya will be covered in diamonds, in a collaboration with trade fair exhibitor, Crosley Diamonds of London.'

The trade fair organisers are also very pleased to announce that the world's most famous store, Harrods of Knightsbridge, London, are taking part at the trade fair, and will have a large presence at the event, alongside Donna Karan of New York, who are creating their own boutique for the two day fair.

Other brands now confirmed to be taking part include Bang & Olufsen, Arabian Oud, Asus computers and mobile phones, Kahn Design (the world's most exclusive bespoke car company), and Khasket, one of the world's most exclusive men's wear and military uniform makers and holders of the Royal Warrant.

Over fifty companies and brands are taking part in the first ever luxury brands and business fair in Europe for the Middle East / Gulf market.

The Saudi Gulf Luxury Trade Fair is supported and promoted by the Arab British Chamber of Commerce, whom themselves will be exhibiting at the fair. Director General of the Arab British Chamber of Commerce Ms Afnan Al-Shuaiby will be taking part in the official opening ceremony of the fair at 10.00am on August 2nd 2008.

The Saudi Gulf Luxury Trade Fair will take place at the InterContinental London Park Lane on August 2nd and 3rd 2008, from 11.00am until 11.00pm daily, with free admission for visitors to the fair.
