UAE ends anti-piracy campaign

The Business Software Alliance, in collaboration with the UAE Ministry of Economy, has announced the end of a nationwide anti-piracy initiative titled 'Using unlicensed software can shut down your business'. The campaign, which ran from May 4 to June 10, aimed to spread awareness about intellectual property rights laws and the legal consequences of using and selling pirated and illegal software. The event also aimed to improve the country's global image as a secure IT investment destination.
