Overdue health clinic opens its doors

A health clinic, which stood idle for three years after its completion, has finally opened to the general public in the UAE. The clinic in Qurrayah, a village between Fujairah and Khor Fakkan, was built to cater to the healthcare needs of local residents who were usually forced to travel to Fujairah nearly ten kilometers away. However, the community grew frustrated that the centre lay unused and were given no explanation for the delay. On Monday the clinic finally opened its doors to the general public and received eight cases, reported Gulf News.
