  • PRESS RELEASE

Dubai based luxury air charter company, Western Aviation, announced its intention to purchase a brand new Hawker 4000 Business Jet from Hawker BeechCraft Corporation.

The announcement came at the European Business Aviation Show (EBACE) 2008, held in Geneva in May. EBACE is the flagship forum for the business aviation community to find products and services from the world's top vendors.

Western Aviation and Hawker BeechCraft Corporation signed the LOI to purchase this Hawker 4000 private jet during the 8th Annual EBACE event.

Mr. A.J. Kamal, Senior GM for Western Aviation said,
"The Hawker 4000 is one of the most advanced and luxurious super midsized business jets in the world. The addition of this Hawker 4000 in addition to the existing Hawker 900XP will give us additional capacity and flexibility to meet the ever growing demand which we have for private jets in the region."

"Since the Middle East market is well known for its hunger for large cabin jets, this Hawker 4000 with the largest cabin in its class, a full six-foot high stand-up cabin from front to back can satisfy the demands of business executives or high-net worth individuals who prefer flying spacey jets even for short duration flights of an hour or so," adds Mr. Fairoz Assistant GM for Western Aviation.

"The Hawker 4000, with its sophisticated composite fuselage, supercritical wing, powerful Pratt & Whitney Canada FADEC-controlled engines and state-of-the-art Honeywell Primus EPIC avionics, simplifies the lives of busy executives and helps maximize their productivity. With an outstanding balance of speed, efficiency, comfort, responsiveness and 3,280-nautical-mile range, the Hawker 4000 serves as the indispensable business tool, getting them wherever they need to be, whenever they need to be there," comments Mr. Ihsan Deeb, Business Development Manager for Western Aviation.

The extensive selection of fine fabrics, leathers and woods as well as advanced Collins Airshow entertainment electronics makes it a quiet, comfortable environment ideally suited for business flights (flying board room) or leisure flying with a relaxed environment.

Western Aviation's Hawker 4000 is expected to arrive in Dubai during the second quarter of 2009, a period when business aviation is expected to boom in the Middle East.
