In a presentation to the delegates, Saleh Janeeh, Manager: Quality Assurance, DUBAL, explained that DUBAL has pioneered employee involvement in the UAE since the company's inception in 1979.

As a result, the Award Winning DUBAL Employee Suggestion Scheme has been used as a model by a large number of organisations, both locally and internationally.

In support of efforts to increase employee involvement in other local industrial and commercial organizations, DUBAL has also taken a lead role in establishing and supporting 'Ideas.Arabia' under the auspices of Dubai Quality Group.

Janeeh's presentation also detailed DUBAL's Employee Suggestion Scheme process to the delegates. Later, they had the opportunity to attend the monthly Area Manager Awards Presentation, hosted by Ali H A M Al Zarouni (General Manager: Smelter Operations), where employees were recognised for their contributions to the Scheme.

'The popularity and success of our Scheme is such that many external organisations from nearby countries visit DUBAL to find out more about it,' said Janeeh. 'The visit from Saudi Arabia Airlines allowed us to share how we involve our employees in the day-to-day activities of our business.'

Ibrahim Nasser, General Manager: Human Resources and Organisational Effectiveness at DUBAL added that DUBAL was delighted to receive the Saudi Arabia Airlines delegation.

'We are very proud of our company's achievements and believe in sharing our successes with others,' he said.

The Saudi delegates were pleased with the visit and DUBAL's facilities, moreover, they were impressed with DUBAL's suggestion scheme.
