- PRESS RELEASE
Seagate, the world's leading provider of hard drives and storage solutions, announced that it has opened a Collection Point in Riyadh, which will service Seagate's authorised distributors, resellers and partners in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the company's extensive warranty programme.
The establishment of the Riyadh Collection Point highlights the enhanced investments and greater focus on sales, marketing and support initiatives to maintain Seagate's strategy for MEA as a major growth market for its industry-leading storage products.
The Collection Point processes Return Material Authorization (RMA) disc drives at one central location, speeding up and simplifying the return procedures for Seagate disc drives.
"In establishing the Riyadh Collection Point, we are providing Seagate's partners with yet another advantage in the Middle East market," said Mark Whitby, Seagate executive director, FSU, Middle East and Africa. "Our authorised partners can now process returned drives much more quickly and in a more economical way which benefits both them and their customers. Combined with our five-year warranty on Seagate disc drive products, the establishment of the Riyadh centre demonstrates Seagate's commitment to partners in the region. We will continue to introduce new service programmes which will enable our partners to offer not just the best products and technology but the best end-to-end customer experience."
