Customers can choose to log on at Wi-Fi Hotspots or via a dial-up connection from their laptop or desktop computers world wide.
Benefits of the new service include increased convenience, access and efficiency, along with significantly reduced costs.
"Our commitment to extending the reach of our customers has been given a new dimension with the addition of iPass global broadband roaming locations," said Khalifa Al Shamsi, Vice President Marketing, Consumer and SMB, Etisalat.
"We understand the need for people to stay in touch when they travel, and we are determined to make global connectivity as fast, reliable, and inexpensive as the services we provide at home."
The new Etisalat iPass service will also allow international visitors to the UAE to access the Internet through Etisalat by using their internet account via a dial-up connection from their computers.
The local roaming service provides visitors to the UAE with the same benefits received by UAE residents who log on from abroad.
