The GIII is the seventh aircraft in Dubai-based EAG's growing fleet, six of which are available for charter.

The 11-seater Gulfstream GIII has a unique GIV interior design and layout, with individual 'club seats'. Added passenger convenience comes in the form of an exterior baggage compartment which can also be accessed from the cabin. The aircraft has a maximum speed of 460 mph and a range of 3,400 nautical miles.

Paras Dhamecha, Executive Director of Empire Aviation Group, comments:

"The Gulfstream GIII is the third aircraft we have added this year and we expect to see our fleet grow to 10 by the end of 2008, based on our very strong aircraft sales performance. We advise our clients on aircraft selection very carefully and this is the first Gulfstream to join our mixed fleet; it adds another dimension to the range and the choice we offer to the regional charter market."

The new arrival follows the recent addition of an Embraer Legacy 600 and a Hawker 850XP. The EAG fleet consists of aircraft from every major business jet manufacturer, as Empire Aviation Group grows rapidly within the expanding regional market for private aviation, offering sales, management, operations and charter services.

"Gulfstream builds some of the most technologically advanced business jet aircraft in the world," adds Paras Dhamecha," and this GIII has the unique GIV interior, which is especially refined and luxurious; we believe it will appeal to the regional charter market, adding new capacity to a market where demand is growing strongly."

Six months after receiving its Air Operators Certificate, EAG, the general aviation company operating from Dubai International Airport, has already built one of the region's largest managed fleets of executive jets.

IATA forecasts predict the Middle East will be the fastest growing region for international traffic over the next few years, with increases expected to be around 7 percent annually, well ahead of the world average of 4.8%.
