- PRESS RELEASE
Department of Finance - Government of Dubai announced the launch of a new corporate logo which reflects the application of new criteria, system and working strategy.

H.E Sami Al Qamzi, Director General of the Department of Finance - Government of Dubai, and member of the Executive Council of Dubai, commented on the new logo saying that it unveils standards, positive goals, and moral values which have historical implications.
Al Qamzi added: "With its elegantly sloping, cursive calligraphic script, the used font represents firmness, quality, and consistency, therefore; we decided to use such a script."
The logo is in golden color and consists mainly of the name of the Department of Finance - government of Dubai, written in "Thuluth Script" which has been one of the most distinguished fonts through ages symbolizing high standard values.
Noticeably, the "Thuluth Script" has always been related to the great Arabian history being the font used to inscribe Qur'anic Verses on the Kaaba in Makkah.
About the logo's color, Mr. Al Qamzi said: "Choosing the golden color for the new logo reflects our profound values... golden color symbolizes illumination, purity, and wisdom."

This paper is distinguished for being made out of environment friendly materials that is wood-free.
Also, 30% of the paper is made out of recycled materials while the other 70% is made out of special manufactured fibers.
Moreover, the paper is manufactured in a factory which runs with wind power. It is to be mentioned that the paper is decomposable and its wastes are not harmful for the environment.
Al Qamzi concluded saying: "Since the establishment of Department of Finance - government of Dubai we have been working hard to upgrade all administrative systems in order to get better results.
Also, we encouraged the establishment of a unified department which supports other growing governmental entities to better their performances, control their expenditure and direct them to a better usage of resources.
